ABout us

We met at Bible college in Illinois and things just got better from there. After getting married and finishing school, we decided to take a new experience and move to California.

California was filled with more experiences than we expected including new opportunities for leadership, graduate school for Christopher, and our first child. We decided to move back to the Midwest in order to slow things down a little bit and not just be like ships passing in the night.

Which brought us to Ohio. In Ohio, Christopher gained more experience as a youth minister and did some more school. Carrie honed her amazing administrative skills at the University of Cincinnati. Then, we had a second child. Life was good. Eventually, we explored church planting and decided to start a home group. Discipleship is important to our family.

In 2017, we had the opportunity to move to Holland, Michigan and we just couldn't pass it up.

We have always felt God uses people where they are at on their journey to reach other people, and we want to partner with God in that mission. Our family values are people over stuff, wise use of resources, and Kingdom focus.
